Mayor GT Bynum said, “Tulsa is a city that loves and honors heroes, today we feel the tremendous pain of losing one.”

A line of elected officials and TPD officers stood in front of Sgt. Johnson’s squad car, barely visible under the balloons, flowers and messages of love.

Franklin said, “I am not going to forget this and I know these officers here are not going to forget this.”
