During its Ubisoft Forward presentation, the studio announced the return of Hyper Scape. The new battle royale game recently left its limited technical test. But starting July 12, Hyper Scape is available for all players in open beta. It’s currently free to download and play.

During the event, Ubisoft revealed the battle royale will have a new battle pass for the open beta period. Ubisoft Montreal has also added a new weapon and Hack — Hyper Scape’s name for abilities — since the game’s technical test.

Hyper Scape is Ubisoft’s new battle royale game, with some extensive Twitch integration, where viewers can vote for in-game events that occur in streamers’ games.

The Hyper Scape open beta is currently only available on Windows PC. The new battle royale will later appear on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. Creative director Jean-Christophe Guyot also hinted that the game will come to next-generation consoles in the near future.
